This term in Geography all of year seven and eight have been learning about the Arctic. As part of this, every student has created an entry to the Royal Geographical Society Young Geography of the Year Award - an A3 poster themed on 'What makes the Arctic unique?'
The standard of entries was amazing with thirty students being highly commended in school and receiving a certificate and prize in assembly. Ten of these entries have been forwarded to the RGS to be judged in the national competition and we eagerly waiting to see the results.
A huge congratulations to all our young Geographers that took part!
