COVID-19 UNIFORM ORDERING INFORMATION UPDATE

Stitch-a-Logo open days in June and July are now cancelled. They have been replaced with the Saturday opening 9am - 12 midday and Monday to Friday 9am -5pm.

As of Monday  15.6.2020 - a family at a time can come in to pick up uniform, they will NOT be doing a booking system, it will be show up and wait for a family to leave (if applicable).

Everything is disinfected between families arriving and leaving. Parents will be given a tape measure to use (they have lots and will be disinfected as well).

There will NOT be an opportunity to try on clothes. If they do not fit, they can be returned and will be quarantined for 5 days before being put back in stock.

Stitch-a-Logo suggest parents use the online link /phone  and request their order as there will be another unit that will be a "click and Collect" service, which will enable parents to pick up from there, rather than wait for a family to leave.

All students at the Wellington Academy from Year 7 to Year 11 are expected to wear school uniform. All items of uniform are compulsory and should be clearly marked with the students’ name.

Uniform can be bought from our supplier Stitch-A-Logo in Andover whose staff will help you with all aspects of uniform purchase. You are able to order online or by visiting their shop. Stitch-A-Logo will deliver to you for a charge or you can collect from their shop for free.

For those families who have a serving member of HM Forces, there is a small discount available on posting in to the area. To take advantage of this, please purchase uniform through our supplier and speak to a member of staff on reception at the Academy who will arrange for your discount to be processed on presentation of your receipt and a copy of the order form. Please note this is for one of each, blazer and tie only.

There is a uniform subsidy available for students who receive free school meals. For further information, please contact reception.

The parents/carers of boarders should order direct through the Stitch-A-Logo website when possible with orders being delivered to the Boarding House. Posting abroad will incur further postage costs. During term time, the boarding house staff will help facilitate orders for uniform if direct ordering is difficult.

We do hold a limited stock of ties and House badges at the Academy reception for purchase.

Every Term 6 we will hold a uniform sizing day at the Academy for those students transitioning from Primary School to the Academy. You will be notified of the date but if you are unable to attend, you are also able to purchase uniform by the process explained above. Those joining the boarding house for the first time, orders are to be placed through the website with orders either sent out to you or delivered to the boarding house for your arrival. Staff will be on hand to exchange uniform if required.
