Using the Worry Box - Important Information

The Worry Box is here to help you share something that may be worrying you or someone else. No concern is too small – if something doesn’t feel right, we want you to tell us.

Please note that the information shared through this form is provided by the person submitting it, and the school cannot accept liability for the accuracy or completeness of the information reported.

This form is monitored during normal school working hours only. You may not receive a response for up to 48 working hours after submitting a message.

If you think a child or young person is at risk of significant harm, or is injured, contact:

0300 456 0108 – Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), standard working hours:
Monday to Thursday from 8.45am to 5pm
Friday from 8.45am to 4pm.

0300 456 0100 – Out of hours service:
Monday to Thursday 5pm to midnight, Friday 4pm to midnight
Weekends and Bank Holidays from 9am to midnight

Phones are diverted to the Social Work Standby Service from midnight to 9am (7 days a week).

Confidentiality and Your Information

We understand that sharing worries can feel difficult, and we take this seriously. All information shared through the Worry Box will be treated with care, respect, and confidentiality.

Information will only be shared with those who need to know in order to help keep a child safe. This may include the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), deputy safeguarding staff, relevant school professionals, or, where appropriate, external agencies such as Children’s Social Care or the Police.

All personal data will be handled in line with the school’s Data Protection Policy and relevant data protection legislation, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
