The media studies curriculum offers cross-platform study with the aim of enabling students to become critical and intelligent consumers of the mass media with an understanding of the power that it holds to influence, shape and define our concepts of identity, reality and accepted social values. It encourages an analytical exploration of the accepted views, conventions and stereotypes and develops creative skills in media production.
