Make-up
- Make-up must be natural and discreet including eyelashes.
Nail Polish
- Nail polish must be natural and not brightly coloured, patterned or displaying adornments.
- Nail extensions are not permitted.
Jewellery
- for health and safety reasons, earrings must be simple stud earrings only; hoops and dangling earrings are not permitted. If students choose to wear other jewellery, it must be discreet and appropriate for the school environment, and must not interfere with learning, participation in school activities, or present a health and safety risk.
Outer wear/layered clothing
- Pupils may wear a dark coloured winter coat (ideally with reflective stripes) to and from school and whilst outside. However, it must be removed when inside any of the buildings. Students are not permitted to wear their coats when moving between lessons within the building.
- No hats or caps are to be worn inside whilst in uniform.
- School PE hoodie must only be worn for PE lessons.
- Any clothing worn under uniform (eg T-shirt) should not be visible.
Shoes
- Black school shoes or black trainers must be worn when wearing uniform and these must be black, sensible, plain, leather low-heeled footwear (no boots, sandals, Crocs, cloth or canvas shoes of any type). They should not have any alternative colour or coloured markings.
